Privacy Policy — Tiny Wins Daily

Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026

The short version: Tiny Wins Daily does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, and no advertising. Your wins live on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account where Apple encrypts them. We never see them.

1. Who we are

Tiny Wins Daily (“the app,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is an iPhone journal for small daily victories, published by Kaspar Works Inc, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA (the “data controller”). Questions about privacy: kaspar@kaspar.works.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Tiny Wins Daily iOS app, its widgets and Siri shortcuts, and this page. It describes what is and is not processed when you use the app, and your rights under laws including the EU/UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and COPPA.

3. Information we collect

We collect no personal information. The app has no sign-up, no login, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We operate no server that receives your data.

Specifically, we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your name, email, contacts, location, device identifiers, usage analytics, or anything you write in the app.

4. Information stored on your device

Everything you create stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone:

Widgets read this same on-device store through an Apple App Group so they can show today's wins on your Home Screen. Nothing leaves the device for that.

5. iCloud sync

If iCloud Drive is turned on for your device, the app keeps a copy of your wins in the private database of your own iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so your other devices stay in sync. Apple encrypts this data in transit and at rest, and only your Apple Account can read it. We have no access to your iCloud data and cannot read, export, or recover it. Turning iCloud Drive off for the app stops syncing; deleting the app's data from iCloud is done in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud → Manage Storage.

6. On-device intelligence

On devices with Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 and later), the app can write a short monthly story, a weekly summary, and a reflection question using Apple's on-device language model. The only input is the titles, categories, and dates of your own wins, and the model runs entirely on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to Apple, to us, or to anyone else, and you can turn this off in Settings → On-device AI. Without it, the app uses its built-in wording.

7. Notifications and Siri

Daily reminders, the end-of-day recap and weekly memories are local notifications scheduled on your device; they do not use a push server. iCloud sync uses Apple’s silent push service so your devices know when there is something new; it carries no content from your journal. The “Log a tiny win” Siri shortcut runs inside the app on your device. Siri's own processing of your voice is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

Tiny Wins Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment and billing; we never receive your card details, name, or address. The app checks your subscription status with Apple's StoreKit on your device and stores only an entitlement flag and expiry date locally so Pro keeps working offline. Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings. Apple's terms: Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

9. Export and backup

You can export your wins as a PDF, an image, or a “Journal backup” file. Exports are created on your device and go only where you send them (for example to Files or a message). We do not receive a copy.

10. Earlier versions and one-time import

Version 1.0 of Tiny Wins Daily (2025) stored wins in a cloud account using Google Firebase. The first time version 2.0 launches on a device that was signed in to that account, it copies those wins once into the app's on-device store, and then no longer uses the cloud account. The app does not update or add to that earlier cloud copy. If you used version 1.0 and would like the earlier cloud copy deleted, email us and we will delete it. On a device that never had a version 1.0 sign-in, the app sends no requests to Firebase, and once the import has finished Firebase is not started again.

11. Third parties

Apple IntelligenceOn-device text, optionalNothing leaves the device
Google FirebaseOne-time import for version 1.0 users onlyReads the account's existing wins once; nothing new is written

No advertising networks, no analytics providers, no data brokers.

12. Legal bases (GDPR)

Because we do not process personal data on our systems, no legal basis is required for our processing. Processing that happens on your device or in your iCloud account is performed by you, under your control.

13. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data. Because it is on your device and in your iCloud account, you exercise these rights directly: edit or delete any win in the app, export a backup, or use “Delete journal entries” in Settings. Deleting the app removes its on-device data; iCloud data is removed through iOS Settings as described above. For the version 1.0 cloud copy, email us. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

14. Data retention

Data stays on your device and in your iCloud for as long as you keep it. We retain nothing, because we hold nothing.

15. Children's privacy

The app is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Parents who have questions can contact us at the address above.

16. International users

We do not transfer your data across borders because we do not receive it. iCloud data location is governed by Apple.

17. Security

On-device data is protected by iOS data protection and your device passcode. iCloud data is encrypted by Apple. Photo attachments are stored in the app's private container and shown on widgets only while the device is unlocked.

18. Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts processing personal data, this policy and the App Store privacy label will change first, with a new effective date at the top of this page.
